By Kelli Kosuda, Lifestyle
Let’s pick up the tempo, shall we? It’s time for our 5th selection in our alphabet of music, and this week we’re livening things up a bit in honor of the letter ‘E’. Facebook, MySpace…we’ve all got one, right? In some way, or another, everyone is capable of creating an identity in cyberspace, whether it be your real self, or someone else. Face it: you can be anyone you want to be online! Eleventyseven’s song “MySpace” is a humorous perspective on the subject of social networking- and even has some relevant chorus lines:

Still I’d like the chance to really see/ if what you say is true and has integrity/ cause I could know everything about you/ and still know nothing at all Eleventyseven’s musical style has been categorized in all sorts of ways, including power pop, electronic, and Christian rock. When asked about why they chose their name, the band said, “It’s the one that looked cool the next morning.”

So, if you’re in the mood for a fresh and catchy tune for your playlist this week, download ‘MySpace’ by Eleventyseven from iTunes. Happy Listening!
