This past weekend, March 13-15, numerous MOC students embarked on a journey to Wintergreen Resort. The trip was sponsored by SGA and was open to all students at Mount Olive College.

The trip only cost two hundred dollars and included three days, two nights stay at the resort. Students stayed in condo style rooms located on slope side.

Some students went on the trip to enjoy a weekend of skiing at a reasonable price and others went on the trip to receive class credit. To receive class credit students were required to take a ski lesson, which was included in the price of the trip.

Jhnea Turner went on the trip in order to fulfill class requirements for PED 182, “I have never been skiing before. It was a great experience and I had so much fun! I am already planning on going next year. It is definitely worth the money!”

Jill Oaks went on the trip just for fun, “Going with the school was a great opportunity for me to meet new people. I had a blast and it was absolutely fabulous.”

If you missed the trip this past weekend, make sure you do not miss this great opportunity next year!
