On Wednesday, March 19, Mount Olive College's International students presented a variety of information, music and food from their home countries. Students from Brazil, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Venezuela, Cuba, United States, Mexico, and Romania shared their cultures with fellow American and foreign classmates.

Students from Brazil, Canada, Venezuela, Norway, Sweden, and Cuba presented a variety of facts about the history, lifestyle, and landscape. All of the international students intrigued the audience with interesting facts about their countries. For instance, both Norway and Sweden citizens celebrate Christmas on the 24 of December. Camila Kurebayashi from Brazil discussed the popular cities in Brazil. Kristin Moberg from Sweden and Martin Brekko from Norway also shared information. For example, in Norway citizens drive on the right side of the road as it is in the United States. The audience learned that a gallon of gas in Norway costs $6.50, and in Sweden, it costs $5.60. Kailey Preece from Canada clarified that Canada's national sport is lacrosse, not hockey. Fabrizio Ceppi from Venezuela described the beautiful beaches and Angels Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

The Showfest included a performance by Mount Olive College's singers, whom sung three of their Salsa pieces – Chili Con Crane, Son de la Loma, and El Que Siembra su Maiz. Students from Brazil also presented a traditional Brazilian piece. All of the students provided samples of foods from their home countries. Some treats included Arébras from Venezuela, an adaptation of Brig de Iro from Brazil, and Molé, Harchate, and Jamaica from Mexico.
